Sundaram-Clayton Limited (SCL) of India is constructing a 240,000 square foot aluminum die-cast automotive parts manufacturing facility for customers, including South Carolina based automotive groups Volvo, Cummins, Daimler, Mercedes, and WABCO. Located on over 50 acres, Phase 1 is on a fast-track basis to ensure North American operations keep up with supply demands. Phase 2 and 3 will see the entire campus built out with three individual buildings.
Performa is working closely with the client, contractors and owner’s rep teams to deliver engineering and project management for the electrical systems for this development. Our work has advanced beyond the building shell into the process equipment coordination over a multi-year phasing timeframe.
